It's very untrue, the Wii has had far worse and more profane games than the 360. Like Manhunt and new games like No More Heroes coming out. Some of there most succesful series are for hardcore gamers and are violent like Metroid and most importantly Smash Bros. The only reason people notice Microsoft as more "adult" is because it's top selling game is rated M.

The PS2 did so well because Sony tied in its success to DVDs. Having a DVD player and game system in one is why I bought my PS2. Blue Ray has more movie company's on hand than HD-DVD at this point. So eventually, If there are enough Movies and TV shows on Blue-RAy, then the PS3 will start to become the system in peoples minds when they want a home console. im glad you know more facts then me helps me alot thanks

The problem is the PS3 isn't the PS2, it's not opperating under the same circumstances. It didn't come otu before all the other systems, it doesn't have any exceptionaly good games and many of it's most favored prospects have already changed systems. Sony should stop making game systems and make a movie and music system. They made one already called the PSP.

But the wii is selling so well right now because everyone wants one. Kids want it because it has a lot of kid games. Parents want it for their kids because its seen as a safe and non threatening console and they like to be able to play with their kids. And even Grand parents want it because they get to exercise and interact with their children and grand children.
