I feel that Gears will still have the better sales numbers due to the fact that the 360 is cheaper and more people have it. Gears has the better character development though, because resistance has virtually zero. I have to give the antagonist edge to resistance though. The chimera are frickin scary. Will gears take away sales from resistance? maybe, we will see. Gears of war 2 will definitely be a hit, no matter what. I expect much better graphics out of gears this time around, since they will have a larger budget to work with.

I think Resistance has imense potential to overshadow anything Gears does with co-op. But as a single player story, we'll have to see. But gears has more consoles to go on that resistance does, so I think it will beat it there.
