I think that's enough for the run on sentence, sorry. That's what staying up late for a firmware update will do to you. In less than 3 minutes, the update was installed and ready to go, which didn't seem that long to me cuz I had my DS =P. Switching between menus isn't noticeably faster yet. It all looks extremely clean though. My Avatar: I love him. There were a lot of cool clothing options right out of the...pipeline (there was no box O_o). The shoes aren't really me, but that was the only area where I noticed a small selection. But along with the standard Pants, Shirts, and Shoes, you can, as you see, choose facial marking. There's tribal paint, camo paint, stripes, scars, one girly (but cool) butterfly tattoo thing. It makes me want to have 3 or four different "Outfits" to slap on when I feel I need a change. They seem to have slots for "Outfits", I'm pretty sure it will be where you can just save your created costumes. I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll be throwing in my impressions here as they come up. I'm very interested in the Game Install feature. Maybe I'll try that in the morning. I will have that picture thing fixed as soon as my new avatar updates. But yeah, there is about as much as the Mii's. Though you can't select the exact position of everything, so there won't be goggles on heads and eyebrows for mouths, or anything like that. They give you a lot of options to make your guy/gal, including many colors for hair and make up, and even some of the face paint.

But as a whole, it's not significant. It just removes the Xbox's vacuum cleaner function.

Some people like this new set up but hate avatars. Some people hate the avatars and set up, as well as some saying they like both. I also hear people always saying there stealing the Idea from Wii system.

On G4 they timed the difference between loading times with and without downloading to the harddrive for some racing game, GTA and Mass Effect and they said it was only like 2 or 3 seconds of difference, but some other games might've been different so you can't be sure. Although it's good for the 360's future if developers try to cater towards using the download to harddrive function.
