As far as I know Apple doesn't even make its own games like Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony do, they just make computers and other product, so starting now would be difficult if not impossible. I can see Apple teaming up with a gaming company, but I still would doubt that. (please join up with nintendo!!! crosses fingers)

I think Apple has been starting to appeal to gamers more and more lately, but they're still far off from having exclusive games people will care about. So to answer your question, I think way down the road it's possible. Until we actually see more games on their computers let alone exclusives, we can't say, but it's possible. I think that Apple could easily make a console because, they at least have the money (and they have ty, macs, and the ipods). They have the money and a huge fan base. All they would have to do is make it integrated with all the other apple products. The games would probably be download-only. But I think Cellphones will be declared a major gaming platform before that ^_^.
